A semi-truck driver caused an accident by running a red light and then proceeded to drive. Washington State Patrol followed the semi-truck and stopped it. The trooper who stopped the semi believes he saw the driver pouring a liquid believed to be alcohol out of his cab. The driver denied he’d been drinking before the hit-and-run semi-truck accident in Kennewick. However, the trooper said the driver was unsteady on his feet and had bloodshot and watery eyes as well as a flushed face and slurred speech. The driver of the vehicle he hit was injured from the crash.
