A driver was seriously injured in a T-bone accident involving a semi-truck on I-82. An SUV made a left turn in front of an oncoming semi-truck. The semi-truck t-boned the SUV and left the driver with life-threatening injuries. Washington State Patrol reported the semi was traveling about 60 miles per hour at the time of impact. The driver of the SUV was taken to a nearby hospital and charged with negligent driving in the second degree. Troopers also said he was attempting to make an unsafe U-turn which caused the semi-truck accident. The driver of the semi-truck was shaken up but uninjured.
